More experiments with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic’s camera
capabilities. Set color tone to grayscale, contrast was set high and
exposure slightly low. Photo as shot and processed by phone. Pretty
decent huh?

Almost Photo: Kite Chaser
This is an almost-photo; a moment that I find interesting, but lacking
technical finesse − photographed with a mobile phone’s camera and
later heavily cropped and post-processed to bring out what I saw while
involuntarily clicking the shutter release. This is still manyfold
better than just describing what I saw 
kite-flyers and engage in fights – by cutting off the strings of
opponent’s kite. Another group of kids enjoys chasing the lost kites
and claiming them. Here’s one such chaser with a claimed kite in one
hand, a thorny branch to entangle the string in other hand and eyes
tracking another lost kite…
