Sometimes, it completely baffles me how the things go. How opportunities spring out of nowhere, how stupid mistakes creep in unnoticed, how people change… and of course, how such delicate flowers grow on a rough cactus plant!

Yesterday was the Non-Conventional Energy Day and dad, being on the Govt. committee for the non conventional energy had been summoned to a small village called Pimpri Gawli off the Ahmednagar-Pune Highway (turn from Supa) to sow the seeds of the ‘Jatropha’ plant. It is in connection with BioDiesel.

I find it interesting to run my vehicle on plant power 😉 Though it has been possible to do so since liquid fuel was discovered, it probably was never so viable or necessary to use alternative fuels.

I wish a good luck to all such projects.

Oh and if you are wondering why I was present there… 1. Driving 2. Photography … yup, I cant resist going places if I am going to get an opportunity for these two things 🙂

Look around after clicking on the flower’s photo – I have a photo of the “roads” where I was driving 😉
