FileTagger: app to add spotlight comments to a bunch of files

I like to sort out my files and assign tags or comments so it is easier to find a particular file later, however, I’m lazy. I can’t be forced to right-click, click on Get Info then click into “spotlight comments” box and type in something for every file. Nor am I going to use the keyboard shortcut, then tab to the…

Anyway long story short, here’s an automator workflow that takes in a bunch of files dropped onto it, asks for a comment/tags and goes through the task of assigning it to all of the files. You can even drop a whole folder, it will go through all the sub-folders and tag every file.

Note: The last action could have been used right after the first… avoiding all the jumble. However, you cannot easily move around in the dialog box that it presents with a keyboard, which is _very_ annoying, hence this workaround.

Here’s how it works:

I have added the app to my dock, so it’s easy to drop files on it and add comments while I go about my daily routine.
