Riding the Train of Thought

Merry Go Round

with 2 comments

Crazy as it may sound,
Life is but a merry go round.
You enjoy the ride,
While someone pushes from the side.
And when there’s no one left,
You stand… still, bereft.
Wondering, what went wrong.

Then it’s your turn to push;
There’s no reason to rush.
You know how it will always end;
All your strength you’ll spend,
Then tired of the run,
You’ll leave your lonely one,
Wondering, what went wrong…
